Dan: Hey guys, FBM. It’s a beautiful, beautiful sunny morning here, Coffs Harbor, Australia. Spring is on the way.
I’ve been in the program with FBM since about the 12th of April and I’ve been putting a lot of work into it.
I lost my job on the 29th of May at a part time job, it was a bit of a filling job and so I put all my eggs into the FBM basket as well as being a single dad which is pretty time consuming.
And yeah, it’s been a real grind.
I have struggled a lot and for me it was quite disheartening when I saw all, lots of other guys in the program around me that would come on after me and start getting closes really early and really quickly.
And now I’ve just done my first proper month of sales.
So really the first sale started on the 26th of August and I’ve made five closes since then, in 30 days.
All at the starting price of 2.5K US, so the sales value is about 12.5K, which is amazing.
What’s incredible about that for me is that when I convert that into Australian dollars, it’s about, it’s getting close to $18,000 for a month.
And a lawyer here that’s been practicing for 10 years, six years in uni, 10 years practice, you know, it’s about 40 grand a year.
If you projected out it’s about 40 grand a year, more than a lawyer like that makes working 80, 90, a hundred hours a week grinding away in a practice somewhere.
So I mean, that’s why I’m doing this. I think that’s amazing.
I really just needed to prove it to myself, just wanted to say thanks to all the guys the supportive network in that FBM community, really amazing everyone’s so positive.
And what I will say is that, I think one of the things that slowed me down was that I over complicated the process and I know Max and the coaches and in Max’s videos, he says you know, just follow the process, follow the process just execute the way we say it.
And I you know, I’ve probably over thought a lot of things and definitely you know, just make things a bit harder.
I over thought things in my head and not just done it and that’s really slowed me down.
But now that you know, there’s a lot of, there’s still a long road to go.
There’s so much to learn and so much to do.
I’ll just say to the guys you know, don’t compare yourself to anyone else in the program.
Just keep chipping away, everyone has their own journey, everyone will do it at the same speed, everyone’s got their own unique personality that is gonna make them go on this journey at a different speed.
